Hamline University English Department Course Guide
Below is a link to a google drive folder containing both in progress and final drafts of an edited course guide for Hamline University. I had noticed that the original course guide was blurry and hard to work with, so I decided to utilize it for a document redesign project. Also included in this folder is an audience analysis, as well as pages with the original document’s design.

Building Emergency Guide

Located here is the updated Building Emergency Guide that I redesigned for the Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communication. This document serves as the a quick reference guide that is posted throughout the building to provide people with relevant safety information in case of an emergency situation. The original document was intended to be a single page printed on the front and back of a sheet of paper, which is why the document is condensed.

Hubbard School Intranet Site Redesign
Due to the privacy of the Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communication department, I cannot post images regarding the intranet redesign project. The project came about when I began working for the Hubbard School and started looking over the school’s internal site. There was a number of content errors, lack of University of Minnesota brand standards, and dead links scattered throughout the site. After bringing this to the attention of the Chief of Staff, I was allowed editing access to the site and began a full analysis of it. I submitted an editing brief, where I documented all of the changes I saw as necessary for the improvement of the site, and began the editing process as soon as the approval came from the head of the department and the Chief of Staff. In total, the project took about two weeks, and afterwards I was commended for making the site much more accessible and intuitive.
